Anthony David Gonzalez is a former American football tight end who played in the National Football League for 17 seasons. He is considered one of the best tight ends to ever play. Additionally, he was the leader in receiving yards, and the third-highest total of receptions, Gonzalez also was one of the NFL tight end who had the most receptions.

Tony Gonzalez, a former Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro Tight End now works as an FOX Sport studio analyst. Since the start of the 2017 NFL season, Gonzalez has been a fixture in FOX NFL KICKOFF FOX's hour long NFL pregame show that airs prior to FOX NFL Sunday, which airs every Sunday at 11:15 AM ET during the NFL season.
Gonzalez resigned with the Falcons on March 15 2013 for a contract worth $14 million over two years, even though he claimed that he was going to retire at the end of the season. Randy Moss' retirement meant that Gonzalez was the NFL's leading receiver in active yards recieving the last time during his playing career.
